In view of the constant program review and policy development functions, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas maintains a databanking system on Filipino migration. Basically, data generation activities of the CFO are bordered on the premise of providing relevant and accurate data and information to the country's leaders and policy makers for purposes of evolving more effective and pronounced policies to promote the welfare of Filipinos overseas.
The following are information and database systems developed and maintained by the CFO:
- Filipinos Overseas Information System. Contains database of Filipino emigrants.
- Guidance and Counseling Information System. Contains database of Filipino spouses and other partners of foreign nationals.
- Migrants Advisory Information System. Contains profiles on major destination countries of Filipino emigrants, migrants support groups and welfare organizations overseas, Filipino organizations overseas, and list of Philippine embassies and consulates.
- Issue Monitoring System. Contains news and articles on a wide array of topics that concern Filipinos overseas.
- Bills Indexing and Monitoring System. Contains legislative bills which are relevant to Filipinos overseas.
- Exchange Visitor Program Database. Contains information on EVP or J1-registrants, No Objection Statement and Needs Training Certificate applicants.
- LINKAPIL Database. Contains information on donations from overseas coursed through LINKAPIL and projects funded by overseas donors, and beneficiaries in the Philippines.
- Filipino Association Overseas System. Contains contact information on Filipino associations and organizations overseas.
