COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM (CEP)

The Community Education Program (CEP) is an annual information campaign conducted nationwide by the CFO in coordination with various government agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), local government units (LGUs), and academic institutions. The program seeks to assist prospective migrants in making informed decisions regarding overseas employment or permanent residence abroad, as well as to generate community involvement on migration concerns. It also aims to raise public awareness on various issues concerning migration, inter-marriages and existing government policies, programs and services that address illegal recruitment, human trafficking, mail-order bride scheme, and other related issues and concerns.
