Meanwhile, the Top 2 province of origin among Filipino emigrants en route to New Zealand in 1988-2019 was Cebu at 10.32% or 2,375, followed by Laguna at 6.86% or 1,580, Cavite at 6.08% or 1,401, and Rizal at 5% or 1,151. Other major provinces included Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Benguet, and Nueva Ecija. These 10 provinces alone accounted for 77% of all Filipino emigrants bound for New Zealand from 1988 to 2019.
