It was followed by Laguna at 6.86% or 1,580, Cavite at 6.08% or 1,401, and Rizal at 5% or 1,151. Other major provinces included Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Benguet, and Nueva Ecija. These ten provinces alone accounted for 77% of all Filipino emigrants en route to New Zealand from 1988 to 2019.
