CFO Executive Director and Undersecretary Abdulgani M. Macatoman warmly received the courtesy visit of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Board of Directors Engr. Kris Andrew Trinidad on August 10, 2022 at the CFO main office. Also in attendance were Project Management Division Director Marie Del Rosario-Apattad, Management Information Systems Division Director Romeo Rosas, and project officers from the BaLinkBayan Project and the Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (LINKAPIL) Program.

During the meeting, website data and a timeline for the development of the IECEP-led BaLinkBayan website and the LINKAPIL program were discussed.

 

A Memorandum of Agreement was entered between IECEP and CFO on the BaLinkBayan Project on June 3, 2020, in Davao City. The undertaking is a component of the CFO’s commitment to widening its reach and mainstreaming the BaLinkBayan Project by establishing partnerships with different Filipino associations overseas.

IECEP is a non-stock and non-profit organization established in 1950 by a group of pioneers in the field of electronics and communications in the country. IECEP currently has 10 accredited chapters overseas in Singapore, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Eastern Region, KSA Western Region, KSA Central Region, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Japan.
